These shipping tags were done with water, Color Wash spray & pickling salt.
The one on the left was not sprayed with water first - it was sprayed only with denim color wash on the top & bottle on the bottom.
The middle one was sprayed with a lot of water and then a shot of bottle at the bottom which ran across the water towards the top.
The one on the right was sprayed with water, then denim on the bottom & bottle at the top.
Technique:
- Spray your tag with water - make it really wet.
- Spray it with color wash ink.
- Put grains of pickling salt on it.
- Let dry or dry with a heat tool.
- Brush off salt.
