Materials:

Watercolour paper
Twinkling H2O’s (Ocean Wave, Black Cherry, Sunflower)
Couple pages of text (from books or magazines)
Two shades of purple gel pens
Gel Medium
Tuscan Rose “Bottle Cap images” collage sheet **
Scissors/Paper trimmer
Adhesives - including glue stick

** We are currently out of the Tuscan Rose Bottle Cap Images. Some of the Artchix sheets have small images or you can print your own using some of our Vintage Image CD's.

Instructions:

Cut watercolour paper into a 4” x 4” square. This will make 16 inchies.
With Black Cherry H2O randomly paint some squiggles and lines across your watercolour paper base.
Tear very small pieces and strips of text page and adhere randomly onto base. Then with Ocean Wave H2O paint over the text pieces.
With Sunflower H2O, paint all remaining white spaces of base. Let dry.
With paper cutter, cut base into 1” strips, then cut strips into 1” squares.
Cut images from collage sheet and adhere to 1” squares.
Look through text pages from appropriate captions and adhere.
With darker purple gel pen, outline the text.
With lighter shade of purple gel pen, outline the edges of each square.
