Domino Face Book
Designed by Nicola Manning
Materials:
Instructions:
- With Ultimate glue adhere 5 domino shapes to the front cover.
- Working front and back cover simultaneously, paint gesso over back and front covers making sure to cover all sides of dominos. Let dry.
- Using red, paint back and front covers making sure to cover all sides of dominos. Let dry.
- Using gold, paint back and front covers, then use baby wipe to wipe paint off. Use a light touch in places and a heavier touch in others. This allows the red to show through more in certain places. Let dry.
- Using the Espresso Dabber gently dab random spots all over the back cover and on the front cover, but not on the dominos.
- With baby wipe scrub the brown spots.
- Repeat step 4 with gold paint but do not cover the dominos. Let dry.
- Ink your rubber stamp with the espresso dabber and randomly stamp on the dominos only. Let dry.
- Adhere three small square faces from collage sheet to dominos. Outline faces with gold gel pen.
- With gold Posh Accent pen, doodle with spirals and dots on front and back covers.
- Use espresso paint dabber to run around the edges of both covers. Let dry completely. Inside front and back cover.
- Adhere “script” paper to inside covers.
- Use paper punch to punch through holes that have been covered. (Note: if your punch makes smaller holes than the ones already there, push a pencil through the hole to make it bigger)
- Cut fibres to desired length, insert pages between covers and thread the fibres through the holes. Fasten with a double knot.
- Make sure not to tie too tightly, you want the pages to turn nicely without tearing.
