Scrapbooking Calendar

Scrapbooking Calendar - January ......Scrapbooking Calendar - January

Materials:

Instructions:
- Cut 12 x 12" Winter Wonderland Side Border Paper to fit the 8.5 x 11" page, or leave it if you are making a 12 x 12" calendar.
- Cut 'Let it Snow' tag and Small Frame out of the Winter Wonderland Finishing Touches Paper.
- Cut a piece of Mulberry Ribbon 1.5" long.
- Cut 8 pieces of Snow Cone fibers to approximately 12". I varied the length of string because I did not want them all the exact same length.
- Count out 8 eyelets and put them across the bottom of the 'Let it Snow' tag. I did not space them evenly, but you can if you wish. (See Eyelet page for instructions on using eyelets.)
- Put Snow cone fibers through the eyelet's holes, so that it is hanging down from each side of the eyelet at differnt lengths.
- Using glue dots or desired adhesive attach the 'Let it Snow' tag on top of the white Mulberry Ribbon. Have the white ribbon slightly turned and the tag straight.
- Tear the edges of the picture you have chosen, so that it fits in the frame you have cut out.
- Cut along the inside edges of the silver branches on the frame with an exacto knife, so that the corners of the picture can be slipped under them.
- Attach the picture to the frame with glue dots or desired adhesive and then slip the corners of the picture under the branches.
-Attach the 'Let it Snow' tag to the top right of the Winter Wonderland Side Border paper using glue dots or desired adhesive.
-Attach the framed picture to the bottom right side of the page slightly turned to the left and with some of the fibers overlapping the upper edge of the picture.
-Now go to the first month of the date pad area.
-Using Snowy Days Beary Patch Letter Stickers write January, starting 1.5" to the right of and .75" down from the black line. I did not put all the letters straight, I varied how each one was turned and they are not all .75" from the top.
-Using the border from the Snowy Days PSX sticker sheet cut the middle three snowmen out (what you cut out should be about 2 1/8" long). Then place it diagonally across the 1.5" area to the left of January. Before you stick the sticker down, line it up and cut off any sticker that will go out of the black lines. After you have finished this, cut out 4 of the single snowmen and place them in the first four spaces of the calendar (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday). Because this calendar is 2004, these four days will not be labeled with a date.
-Starting on Thursday label the number 1 in the top right corner and continue to label until the last Sunday, which will be 31.
-Congratulations! You have completed January.

There is an endless variety of pages you can make this way by using different Cloud 9 Design papers. Of course you can also add other stickers or embellishments. You can substitute stickers or embellishments for the picture.
