Scrapbooking Calendar - July
......
Materials:
Instructions:
- Cut 12 x 12" Photographics Lake Paper to fit the 8.5 x 11" page.
- Tear about the bottom 4" off the paper.
- Using your favorite adhesives attach the lake paper to the natural mulberry kozo paper, lining up the top corners. It should look like lake on top and beach on bottom. Trim to fit calendar page.
- Cut your pictures to put in the lake portion of the page to desired size. Attach them to the vellum and cut the vellum about 1/8" around each side of the paper.
- Cut the picture to go on the beach to desired size and using adhesives attach it to the left side of the beach.
- Take the blue and white striped umbrella from the Susan Branch Sticker sheet and stick it so that it looks like it is shading the picture on the beach.
- Stick the seagull sticker from the same sticker sheet in the bottom right corner beside the picture, under the umbrella.
- Put one picture with vellum behind it about 1" up from the beach in the water and 1/2" away from the left side of the page and use your favorite adhesives to attach it.
- Now, stick the other picture about 1" above the umbrella and 1" to the left of the right side.
- About an inch up, but closer to the edge, stick 'The Livin' is Easy...' sticker.
-About 1/2" above that, and 3/4" farther away from the edge as the livin sticker, stick the Dreams sticker.
-Go up 1/2" again, and 3/4" over and stick the Summer sticker.
-Take the floating tube and stick it, so that the head is about 1 1/2" from the top of the paper and the water at the bottom of the sticker is 1/2" over from the left edge of the paper.
-Now go to the seventh month of the date pad area.
-Cut a piece of the lake paper 2" x 8".
-Cut a piece of Mulberry Kozo paper 2" x 4.5" and then rip .5" off one end.
-Attach the mulberry kozo paper on top of the lake paper on the right end lining up the corners. I do not recommend using glue dots on Mulberry Kozo paper, use another adhesive (the Kozo paper tears when you try to pull the glue dot off the roll!).
-Cut the letters J & U out of the mulberry kozo paper and the letters L & Y out of the lake paper.
-Attach the J & U to the middle of the title area on the side that the paper is lake and the L & Y on the side that the paper is beach.
-Put a sun from the Susan Branch sticker sheet in the top left corner and stick the sticker that says 'The Best Things in Life are Free' in the middle of the empty beach space in the title area. (Right Side)
-Starting with Thursday label the squares from 1 to 31 (for 2004) in the top right corner with a blue Memories Metellic Marker.
-Take the Susan Branch sticker sheet and place two big shell stickers on the date pad, one on the first Sunday and one on the first Wednesday. The stickers can overlap the lines, they don't have to be directly in the squares. (The first four squares have no date for 2004.)
-Place the bathing suit sticker with one strap coming from the Y in Monday on an angle between Monday and Tuesday.
-Place the 'Get Wet' sticker below the bathing suit and the 'Go Outside & Play' sticker between the bathingsuit and the shell in the Wednesday square.
