Father's Day - It's Your Day Card

Materials:

Instructions:

Cover the card front with black script paper.
Cut graduated strips of paper starting with a light grey, then a red/black and finally a dark grey.
Print “Father’s Day” on the top grey strip and add brads on either side of sentiment. Mount on the left side of the card.
For the Nested Shape choose 3 red and black papers. Trace and cut out the Nested shape template 1-A in 1st choice of paper, then 1-B & 1-D from your second choice of paper and finally, 1-C in your third choice. Adhere all shapes to black paper and trim closely. HINT- run the shapes through the Zyron machine and then place on black paper and trim. Stack the shapes, separating by dimensional dot adhesive.
“It’s your day” is a die cut from the Cricut system. You could substitute a button, ribbon or sticker. Or you could write 'It's your day' with a gel pen, or stamp it ;-)
