Falling Leaves Card
Designed by Wendy Kennedy
Can you spot the errors in this card? If not read the instructions!
Materials:
Instructions:
- Cut bronze card stock in half & fold one half to make a card. This cardstock is absolutely beautiful - the scan does not do it justice!!
- Carefully take peel off's off sheet & stick to cardstock scraps. (Tweezers, exacto knives, & tweezer scissors can help with this). Cut out around peel off. I find it easier to do detail cutting with small scissors. Also remember to turn the paper & not the scissors!
- Stamp Happy Birthday with versamark ink. Pour on gold embossing powder, shake off excess & heat with heat tool. Error #1 was not using something like Embossing Magic to take the static off the paper (this paper is really bad for holding embossing powder) before embossing - notice the stray embossing powder around the stamped image.
- Arrange peel off embellishments as desired on card front & adhere. I used Tombow mono glue Error #2 - don't smear the glue on the cardstock - it does dry clear but it covers up the shine & you can see where it smeared!
