Thank You Card
Designed by Melanie Coombs
This is a very easy card to make and a nice way to add a personal touch to a ‘Thank You’ note!
Materials:
Instructions:
- Cut a rectangle from the green cardstock measuring 11” x 5-1/2”, score in the
middle and fold. Your card size will be a 5-1/2”x 5-1/2” square.
- Cut a 5” square from the sheet of Hannah Floral paper. Centre on the face of the
card and adhere using your choice of adhesive. Set aside.
- Cut a square from the Hannah Green & Pink Gingham paper, measuring
approximately 2-1/2”. Ink the edges using the red ink pad. Punch two holes
toward the top of the square, as shown in the photo.
- Cut a length of ribbon and thread it through the holes in the gingham square, as
shown. Glue the gingham square to the face of the card, as shown. Use a glue
runner or cut thin strips of double sided tape to fasten down the ribbon (or try Making Memories ribbon glue). Trim the
ribbon where it meets the edge of your card.
- I then fastened the brads to the flowers and used glue dots to fasten the flowers to
the face of the card (so the brads would not be poking through to the inside of the
card).
