Floral Card

Designed by Melanie Coombs

Floral Card

Materials:

Instructions:

  • Cut a piece from the Bazzill cardstock measuring 6-1/4” wide and 13.5” high. Fold in half, so that the front face of your card is 6-1/4 wide and 6-3/4” high.
  • Cut a square from the ‘Garden Party’ paper measuring 5”x 5-3/4”. Use your corner rounding punch to round each corner of the square. Take your brown ink pad and ink the edges of the square, leaving a somewhat thick ink edge. Using your choice of adhesive, attached the square to the centre of the face of your card.
  • Cut another square, this time from the ‘London Sunset’ paper. Round the corners and ink the edges with the brown ink pad, but not as heavily as on the first square. Adhere the second square onto the first one, making sure to centre it.
  • Using the ‘Lunch at the Club’ paper and some fine scissors, cut a bunch of flowers and their stem. Adhere to the centre of the top square using pop up dots or raised foam adhesive squares. Another option to finish off the card would be to tie a delicate ribbon around the “stem” of the flowers.
