Merry Christmouse Card
Materials:
- Dark Green cardstock - 5.5 x 8.5"
- White Cardstock - 3.5 x 3.5"
- Red Sinamay Ribbon - 7"
- Merry Christmouse stamp by House Mouse
- Mouse Footprints Background stamp by House Mouse
- A black & green ink pad
- Versamark (or another embossing ink)
- Cranberry Adirondack Embossing Powder
- Watercolor Pencils
- Adhesives
Instructions:
- I made my card 5.5" x 4.25" (half an 8.5x11 sheet) but you can make it any size.
- Fold the 5.5 x 8.5" green cardstock in half.
- Stamp the Merry Christmouse picture on the white cardstock with black.
- Color with watercolor pencils.
- Tear the edges & then ink with dark green ink.
- Stamp mouse footprints in the top left corner heading towards the bottom right corner with Versamark or embossing ink. Put cranberry embossing powder on the stamp & then heat with a heat tool. Repeat in lower right corner (so footprints run accorss the card from the top left to the bottom right.)
- Attach the sinamay ribbon from the bottom left to the top right. Trim edges.
- Attach the Merry Christmouse in the center of the card.
