House Mouse Walking in the Rain Card

Card Front:

Materials:
- Lavender Cardstock
- White Organza Ribbon
- White Ink Pad - Used Versacolor Cube
- Black Ink Pad - Used Jet Black Archival
- House Mouse - Walking in the Rain Stamp
- Letter Stamps - Used My Sentiments Exactly - Retro Alphabet
- Swirl Stamps - Used the swirls in the Everyday Wishes Stamp Set
- House Mouse - Mice, mice mice sticker
- Beyond Postmarks Card Quotable Vellum Sticker Pad
- 1 silver 1/8" eyelets
- White Vellum
- Watercolor paper
- Watercolor paints (you could also use thinned acrylic paint, markers, or watercolor pencils)
- Adhesives - including vellum tape
Instructions:
- Cut a piece of lavender cardstock 7" x 10" (or the size you need for your card & envelope). Fold it in half.
- Cut a piece of watercolor paper 6" x 5". Tear the edges to 5.25" x 4.25"
- Stamp the Walking in the Rain stamp using an ink that you can watercolor over.
- Do a pale blue wash over the image & then paint as you wish. Paint some blue on your torn edges.
- Attach to the front of the card.
- Put a silver eyelet at the top & bottom to the right of the picture.
- Run ribbon through the eyelet holes & tie a bow on the front of the card.
- Stamp Happy and Birthday on each side of the picture in black.
- Stick some mouse footprint stickers to the bottom of the card (or use the mouse print stamp & black ink).
Inside Card:
- Stamp some swirls on the inside of the card with white ink & the swirl stamp.
- Take a Birthday Message out of the Beyond Postmarks Quotable Vellum Sticker Pad and place on to the white vellum. Then cut it about 5.75" x 3.25". Attach over swirls with vellum tape (doesn't show through the vellum!).
- Stick a couple mice stickers & some footprints on the vellum.
Note: We are currently out of the walking in the rain stamps but you can make a card like this with any House Mouse stamps.
