Birthday Joy Card
Designed by Donna Moore
Materials:
Instructions:
- Cut brown cardstock to make an 8 x 4" card.
- With Gift Stamp, Ink it with Versamark (to make a water mark**) and stamp 1/2 the card randomly in a vertical pattern.
- Glue/tape Sinamay Ribbon - Natural down middle of brown cardstock (trim extra off the top and bottom).
- Technique: To use part of a stamped image (2 ways to do it) - take a felt marker and out line the part of the image you want to use or use regular tape and cover the part of the image you don't want to use, ink the stamp, remove the tape, stamp image on to project.
- Only Ink "Wish You" part of the "We Wish You Merry Christmas" with brown pigment Ink. Stamp onto Twill Tape. Tape (double sided adhesive) or glue bookplate emblishment over top of twill tape. Remove extra tape from sides. Push brads through and fasten to brown cardstock.
- Tape Birthday Joy image to Brown cardstock. Cut a 1 inch border around image. Tape to grey cardstock. Cut 1/4 border.
- Place shaped clip and adhere to card.
**What's a watermark? Using versamark ink stamp an image on dark cardstock & it will show up darker on the cardstock. Doesn't work well on light cardstock.
