Blue Poppy Birthday Card

Materials:
- Blue & White Cardstock8.5" x 11" Cardstock Starter Pack
- Art Brush Poppies Stamp
- Birthday Joy Stamp
- Blue Ink Pad - Used Versacolor Cube
- Black Ink Pad - Used Jet Black Archival
- Black Micron Archival Pen
- Blue Vellum - Primary Vellum Multipack
- Spring - Special Effects Ribbon
- Garden - Karen Foster Simple Charms
- Watercolor Crayons (you could also use thinned acrylic paint, markers, or watercolor paints)
- Adhesives used Medium Zots & Vellum Tape

Instructions:
- Cut a piece of light blue cardstock 10" x 8" (or the size you need for your card & envelope). Take any small flower stamp and the blue versacolor cube and stamp flowers randomly over cardstock. Fold cardstock in half.
- Take a pair of fancy edged scissors and cut straight edge off of front right hand side of card, then rub blue versacolor cube over the edge to highlight fancy edge.
- Next wet a blue watercolour crayon and rub it onto the flowers of the poppy stamp, then wet a green waterolour crayon and rub it over the stem and leaf sections of the stamp. Stamp onto white cardstock.
- Tear around the stamped picture when paint is dry and using the blue versacolour cube rub over the torn edges of paper. Then using the Black Micron pen draw in and around the
poppy picture.
- Using Medium Zots stick poppy picture to card. Cut out a favourite quote and trim a fancy edge or simply tear one and stick with zots too.
- Take a piece of ribbon from the spring special effects ribbon pack and place around the front page of card and knot in the front. Then take a metal butterfly charm from the Garden Charms and using a Zot stick to card making sure to wind ribbon behind it. Place the ribbon ends and cut a zot in half and use to stick ribbon in place.
Inside Card:
- Using the Birthday stamp and the black archival ink pad stamp onto a piece of blue
vellum, trim to finish. Stick to card using vellum tape.
