Materials: -
H2Os – Sunset Glow, Peppermint Taffy, Rain Forest
- CS - White Glossy, Dusty Pink, Rose
- Stamp pad - Deep Rose
- Trims - Iridescent rick rack, 1-1/2" wide gold/rose iridescent sheer ribbon
- Double stick tape
Using an entire 8-1/2 x 11 sheet of white glossy cardstock and Sunset Glow, Peppermint Taffy and Rain Forest H2Os, I used the cling wrap technique as shown on Splitcoasters. Found that using too much of the lightest color did not work for this project, but was able to feed back in more of the other two colors.
After the paper dried, with the Deep Rose stamp pad, I stamped my flower image 4 times on the treated paper, being sure I got an assortment of the colors. I cut out the flower at different points on the stamp, and was able to re-assemble the flower dimensionally.
The Rose cardstock was then layered on the Dusty Pink cardstock. The iridescent rick rack was attached to each side of the wide sheer ribbon with double stick tape, and the ends folded underneath. This layer was then attached to the Rose cardstock. The flower was then layered on top of the ribbon.
This makes a card which measures 4-1/2 x 5-1/2.

This cling wrap background was made using matte cardstock (index 110lb), walnut ink and cheap cling wrap. In this case I resused a cling wrap that I had used on another background which still had colour on it. So the red and blue were introduced into the background from the cling wrap. Interesting effect!!

This cling wrap background was made using white glossy carsdstock, Kaleidacolour stamp pad - creole spice - and a brayer for the colour and cheap cling wrap. I just brayered on the colour and then spritzed it with a bit of water then applied the crumpled cling wrap.

I just used plain white paper (from Staples) and brayered with a Kaliedacolour ink pad, and sprayed it with water, then scrunched and laid my saran wrap on top and let it almost dry like this.

I used colorwash sprays and glossy CS. The eagle is from Coronado stamps- I cut it out from a stamp with text on it as well, and the stars are a SU wheel, sentiment a $1.00 stamp. I used Saran cling plus (that is what I had) and it left extra lines in it.
