Scrapbooking Layout - Like Father, Like Son

Scrapbooking Page - Like Father Like Son

Materials:

Instructions:

  • Use the Tammy paper as the base for your layout. Cut a large square from the Leslie paper, leaving ½” to 1” border of the Tammy paper showing. Once centered, adhere the Leslie paper using your choice of adhesive.
  • Using the Fastenator stapler, staple decorative staples on each corner of the Leslie paper. I used the silver colour.
  • Round the corners of your 4x6 photo using the corner rounding punch. Adhere the photo to white Bazzill cardstock and trim around the photo, leaving a small border of white showing. Round the corners of the cardstock.
  • Cut a rectangle larger than your matted photo from the Cathy paper. Adhere your photo to the right side of the rectangle. You should have about a half inch border on the right, top and bottom sides and the left side should have a space of 2-1/2” to 3”.
  • On the left side of the rectangle your photo is matted on, centre a strip of medium blue ribbon vertically. Wrap the ribbon around to the back of the rectangle and tape the ends down. Using small glue dots, adhere a Making Memories Metal Word onto the ribbon. Ink the edges of the rectangle using the charcoal ink pad (or a medium to dark blue colour).
  • Centre the rectangle with your photo on it towards the bottom of the square of Leslie paper. Adhere with your choice of adhesive.
  • I used a pre-printed vellum title for my title (you can print one on vellum on your computer). Round the edges with the corner rounding punch. Cut a rectangle to mat the title from the Cathy paper and a slightly larger one from some white Bazzill. Adhere the two background mats together with your choice of adhesive. Centre the vellum title on the two mats and adhere using pewter colour brads.
  • Centre your title towards the top of your page and adhere using your choice of adhesive.
