Miracle Double Layout

Designed by Tania Rubenok

Scrapbooking Page - Miracle DoubleLayout

Materials:

Instructions:

  • Use two sheets of the green cardstock for the background.
  • Cut 4 squares that measure 3.25” square from each of the three pattern papers…you should now have a total of 12 squares - ink edges.
  • Arrange 6 squares on each background sheet and lightly glue in place (we’ll be sewing over it so that’s why it doesn’t need to be glued perfectly :-)
  • Using a sewing machine sew around all the patterned paper squares using a straight stitch, zigzag stitch, or a little of both.
  • Mat photos on the blue cardstock and do the same with the definitions stickers.
  • Transfer the rub on to some unused space in one of your photos (we don't have the white rub-on Tania has used).
  • Using a good adhesive, attach the pictures and the titles/definitions.
  • Put credit card slide on the photo…once again trying to utilize dead space in the photographs (we don't have the credit card slide but you could create somthing similar by printing on white cardstock).
  • Print “Name”, “First Picture” and “Birth date” in a fairly small font. Cut each bit of info into circle shaped tags. Attach an eyelet in the top along with a jump ring and attach to ric rac. Attach ric rac across the bottom of the two pages.
  • Using blue, yellow and green cardstock scraps. Freehand cut about 9 different heart outlines. Cover outlines with versa mark ink, and then add Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel. Shake off excess into a tidy tray and return to bottle for later use. When it comes time to melt the UTEE you’ll probably want to use tweezers to hold the pieces or place your hearts into a disposable pie plate and using your heat gun heat it from the bottom. This helps so that not as much UTEE blows away, but also lessens your chance of a burn, especially if you use a pot holder to hold the pie plate. Let them cool thoroughly and then carefully glue onto layout to use as fun accents :-)
