Snow Angel Layout

Designed by Melanie Coombs

Scrapbooking Page - Snow Angel Layout

Materials:

Instructions:

  • Use the ‘Diva’ Bazzill Bling cardstock as the base of your layout. Cut a 12”x 4” strip from the Hannah Pink Rose paper and adhere to your cardstock as shown in the photo. You will want to leave an approximately 1-1/2” space of cardstock showing at the top.
  • Cut 2 pieces of the cream coloured ribbon and adhere as shown in the photo. I taped the ends behind the back of my page.
  • Mat your photo on the red cardstock and cut out, leaving a small amount of the red cardstock showing around the photo. Cut a square/rectangle from the sheet of Hannah Red Ornate paper. The size I cut was about 6-1/2” high and 6” wide. Ink the edges with the charcoal ink pad and then stick your matted photo to the square in the position shown.
  • Use your Quickutz hand tool to cut out the year of the photo and the name of the month in which the photo was taken. If you do not own a Quickutz, use rubber stamps or stickers instead.
  • I used a sticker that looked sort of like a tag from the K-ology Hannah Stickers to Go Sticker Book and glued the date onto that and then adhered the sticker next to the photo as shown. Then, cut a strip from the Hannah Pink Rose paper, large enough to glue on the letters for the month. Adhere above the date as shown.
  • The title, ‘Snow Angel’, was made using the Basic Grey chipboard letters. I traced each letter in reverse on the back side of a sheet of Hannah Green & Pink Gingham paper. Cut out each letter you’ve traced and glue to the face of the chipboard letter. Use a fine sandpaper to even out the edges on each letter. The chipboard letters are self adhesive, so I just peeled off the backs and placed them on my layout.
  • I added two of the K-ology Hannah Stitched Brads on the left side of the large strip of the Hannah Pink Rose paper, as shown.
