Family Layout
Designed by Melanie Coombs
Materials:
* We don't currently have Coffee With Dessert paper in stock. You can substitute Fitting At Penny's or brown cardstock
Instructions:
- Use the ‘Drinks at the Savoy’ paper as the base for your layout. Cut a strip from the ‘Mrs. Foxglove’s Brunch’ paper measuring 12” long by approximately 2” high. Adhere the strip to your layout as shown, about one inch from the top of your page.
- Cut a length of the green floral ribbon and adhere along the top edge of the strip you just glued on. Evenly space the three Primas or silk flowers on the strip, under the ribbon. Fasten to your layout using the three brads.
- Mat a 4x6 photo on some of the brown ‘Coffee With Dessert’ paper. Trim around the photo, leaving a small border of the brown showing.
- Cut a large rectangle from the darker green Bazzill cardstock, measuring approximately 7.5” x 5.5”. Adhere your matted photo to the green cardstock as shown. Use the ‘Stella Ruby’ alphabet stickers to create your title beside the matted photo. Adhere the rectangle to your layout as shown. Put the metal corner brads on the top left and bottom right corners of the rectangle.
- For my large tag, I used one of the larger tags from the sheet of ‘Stella Ruby’ tags and traced it onto some sage green Bazzill cardstock. Cit out and ink the edges with the black ink pad. Cut two strips measuring 1” high from the ‘Coffee With Dessert’ paper and one strip from the ‘Morning on the Heath’ paper. Adhere onto the large tag as shown, trimming the edges to meet the edge of your tag. Write the date of your photo onto the small round tag from the ‘Stella Ruby’ sheet of tags and tie some brown ribbon in the hole of the small tag. Glue the small tag to the centre of the large tag. Clip the metal clip to the large tag. Place adhesive on the back of the large tag, a glue dot on the back of the metal clip and adhere to your layout as shown.
