Tiny Dancer Layout

Scrapbooking Page - Tiny Dancer

Materials:

Basic Grey ‘Infuse’ papers – Instill, Lace, Season, Saturate and Suffuse
Versa Color ink cubes – charcoal, ochre and rose
Alphabet stamps
Plain white chipboard tag and chipboard square (or use cardstock)
Brown ribbon
Alphabet letters (I used my Quickutz, but any small letters will do)
Pink Brads
Photo
Adhesives
Scissors/paper trimmer

Instructions:

Use the sheet of Basic Grey ‘Lace’ paper as the base of your layout.
Cut part of the design from the sheet of ‘Instill’ (the wavy part under the ‘Dancer’ tag on my layout). Set aside.
Cut a strip measuring approximately 12x4 from the sheet of ‘Saturate’. Adhere the design cut from the ‘Instill’ paper to this strip, as shown in my photo. Set aside.
Cut a strip measuring 12x2 from the ‘Season’ paper. Adhere it about 2” from the left side of your layout. Cut a length of brown ribbon and adhere it along the left edge of ‘Season’ strip.
Next, take the strip from step 3 and adhere it just over the right edge of the strip from step 4.
Mat your photo on the ‘Suffuse’ paper. Cut around the photo, leaving a small border of the paper showing around your photo. Ink the edges with the Ochre ink cube. Adhere your matted photo to the top right side of your layout, as shown.
Ink the entire surface of the chipboard tag and square with the Rose ink cube. Set aside to dry.
Using a piece of the pink ‘Suffuse’ paper & your computer, print out a description of your photo (for me it was the dance company’s name and the year), using any word processing program. Print it small enough so that you can cut it smaller than the chipboard square on which you will be mounting it.
When the inked chipboard is dry, attached the description you printed to the chipboard square. Adhere under your matted photo.
Using your alphabet stamps and Charcoal ink cube, stamp ‘Dancer’ on the chipboard tag. Adhere to your layout in the position shown, using the 2 pink brads. Adhere the first part of your title (‘Tiny’) at the upper right of the tag, as shown, using your choice of small alphabet letters (or you could stamp it).
