Alcohol Ink on Silver Duct Tape
Materials:
Instructions:
- Cut a piece of cardstock.
- Attach punched or cutout shapes, or raised stickers (letters, numbers or shapes).
- Peel the backing off the duct tape & stick it over your cardstock.
- Rub the tape down hard using your scissor handle or another tool to make sure the cutout or sticker images2 show through well.
- Make a tool for stamping alcohol inks: Take a small block of wood (1" x 2" or bigger - doesn't have to be exact!). Glue a piece of velcro to the top of it. Cut a small piece of felt & put it on the velcro. You've created a tool to stamp alcohol inks on anything - and believe me it's addicting!!
- Drop 2 drops of two colors of alcohol ink on the felt & then stamp it all over your silver piece.
- I used pesto & expresso for colors.
- Attach the metallic piece to a scrapbook layout, card or any project you'd like!
NOTE: This is not the regular duct tape with the fibers in it. It's really shiney and has a white backing you peel off.
