Bleach Pen Distressing

Materials:

Instructions:

Ink Stamp
Ink stamp with Versamark ink pad.

Stamp Image
Stamp image. I stamped on the smooth side of the cardstock.

Sprinkle on embossing powder
Sprinkle embossing powder on stamped image (before the ink dries!)

Heat image
Heat with your heat gun. Embossing powder is white when it's put on but after heating becomes clear.

Bleach
I used the large end of the bleach stick & generously spread bleach on and around the image. Let dry.

Bleached Image
A scan of the smooth side of the bleached image.

I used the back side of the image in this card but either side can be used. The back side has a rough finish since Bazzill cardstock is rough on one side & smooth on the other.

I got this idea from this blog http://bianca-ars-longa.blogspot.com/ which is full of great ideas! She colored her bleached image & then used it in a card.
