Embossing Instructions
Embossing is a great way to embellish your paper craft projects. It can be glittery, shiney, matte, etc. depending on the embossing powder you use
Materials:
Instructions:

- Ink your stamp with embossing ink. You can also use colored inks. The important thing is to have an ink that doesn't dry too quickly so the embossing powder will stick to it.
Pigment Inks take longer to dry. Dye inks dry quickly which doesn't mean you can't emboss with them - just be fast!

Pour embossing powder onto wet stamp. Don't delay!!
Dump excess embossing powder back in jar to use again. Tap paper to shake off excess. It's a good idea to have a file folder or a piece of paper with a fold under your jar of embossing powder to use to pour the powder back in the jar.
Heat with embossing gun. These are HOT so don't heat yourself! Some embossing powders will get shiney, some darker when they are melted. Don't overheat or your paper may curl or burn. Let image cool before touching it.

If you're using distress embossing powder - after it cools - rub with your finger and some of the powder will come off exposing the color underneath so you have a 2 color 'distressed' look image. This doesn't work as well with fine line stamps.
