Painting an Embossed Image
Materials:
Instructions:
Ink your stamp with versamark or embossing ink.

Stamp on smooth white cardstock.
Pour embossing powder over inked image.
Pour off excess embossing powder.
Heat image with heat tool to melt embossing powder. It should get shiney/darker as it melts - different embossing powders react differently. Watch closely to see the change. Once it melts move the heat away - don't overheat.
After image has cooled & dried, paint it. I used Twinkling H20 watercolor paints. You can use any watercolor, thinned acrylic paint, watercolor crayons, or watercolor pencil crayons. I painted the rose red, the leaves green & the butterfly blue.
Trim excess paper around image. Your image is ready to be used in a paper project.
